Revo Ultra Plus™ 64 CH commercial grade NVR

I first purchased the RU41B4E-1T System to see how the quality and bang for my buck was before purchasing a higher end system from Revo. First impressions were outstanding! Came with everything I needed to get the install done and the final results were above my expectations in terms of overall satisfaction. So then I purchased the RU162B8E-2T System to expand on and the results were mixed with this purchase. The NVR and cameras were excellent quality and felt professional. However, the data cable that comes with typical systems like this are indeed fake, misadvertised, and/or misleading. The Cat 5e cables are not double shielded nor are they up to UL standards. They lack the number of twists and are made of stranded Aluminum!! The quality of this cable could damage or possibly degrade the overall performance of the system. My best advice would be to buy bulk bare copper Cat 6 or higher cabling and install it for the cameras and networking. Especially if it is PoE cameras like my system. The NVR and cameras are solid and basically your money is paying for that equipment alone. Everything else is courtesy equipment that they give you to get your system started. Use the best quality products with the NVR and cameras and they should go a long way for your return investment.

I am happy with the system

Installed this 6 camera unit in less than 5 hours. First time ever installing a security camera system. Fished walls and ran cat 5 through attic. Unit works as promised. Did have to contact Revo support. Couldn't say anything bad about this support team, they we're all super great and wait time was less than 2 minutes. Would highly recommend this product.

I have now had this system several months. Like others, I had never heard of Revo. I took a chance and it has exceeded my expectations. Picture quality is high quality and night continues to amaze me. Customer support is outstanding. They stand by their product. When you call, someone will answer without a long delay. Support is very knowledgeable and extremely polite. If you are looking for a system for your home, I would 100% recommend this product. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

The quality of the cameras versus the price is unbeatable. Love the cameras and the ease of using the system.

Wow is all I can say I never heard of Revo brand before but did some research and this is near pro-grade hardware your getting from Revo.

If your not a DIYer or have some technical backround you might have
some trouble as the documentation is poor but bright side is Revo has
an amazing email/phone tech support that is included with the unit.

If your looking for a TOP OF THE LINE home security NVR system on a budget this is it. I never heard of REVO brand before but did some homework and all I have to say is WOW.

The HARDWARE Revo America is reselling is TOP NOTCH (Hisilicon H.265 processing cpu and/or dsp) cameras are using above average components also.

So the PRO is hardware your getting is very good.

The CON is documentation it is horrible (REVO America you need to hire a Documentation Engineer/Technician to revamp the material included) but where this is a CON it's they MAKE UP for it with FREE TECH SUPPORT if you don't know how to setup or route something they will help as long as it's NOT TOO TECHNICAL (I have a double Firewalled/VPN gated configuration that is not what an average joe has)

All in all i'm truly impressed with this bundle vs other brands and their bundles out there for the average consumer. I have no regerts (sorry I was eating a milky way)

This is a really great product. I don't need a security system anymore. The picture quality is amazing. The installation is simple, anybody can do it. My friend spent three times more money on his NVR and after he saw my camera he became upset with his NVR system. Lol I gave him the recommendation and advice to purchase the REVO. And now he doesn't have to spend over $1500, instead he can spend a little over $500

I bought this system and i'm very happy with the performance. The camera video quality is great and the system is very easy to use and access remotely from my smart phone.
